http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jeemr/article/view/4208

this study aims to analyze the factors influencing the dynamics of the labor market in Medea province using an analytical approach supported by econometric modeling. The importance of the topic stems from its close link to the issues of unemployment and the weak creation of job opportunities. The theoretical framework of the article was built by addressing the determinants of the labor market and the economic and demographic factors affecting it, in addition to reviewing theories related to employment and inclusive growth. The study tackled the central problem of identifying the most influential factors affecting the unemployment rate movements in the province during the period (2010-2020) ,through the application of a suitable econometric model and precise scientific analysis of time series data .

The study results revealed a strong inverse relationship between economic growth and the unemployment rate, as well as the positive impact of public investment and social spending on stimulating labor market dynamics. Econometric tests confirmed the models validity and the absence of problems such as autocorrelation and heteroskedasticity. The study recommends adopting more flexible local economic policies aimed at supporting labor-intensive sectors, improving the business environment; and encouraging private investment to effectively contribute to reducing unemployment rates in Medea province.
sarra benaissahassane djaider

http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jeemr/article/view/4209

This study aims to highlight the reality of imports in Algeria by measuring the impact of public revenues and expenditures on imports in Algeria during the period (1990-2023) using the ARDL model. The analytical study concluded that Algeria heavily depends on imports to finance the domestic market, with a lack of diversification in suppliers. As for the econometric study, the results of estimating the long-term relationship of the model showed that both public revenues and expenditures have a positive effect on imports in Algeria during the study period. However, the effect of public revenues was greater than that of public expenditures. This can be explained by Algeria’s heavy reliance on oil revenues for importing various goods and services. Therefore, it is necessary to diversify income sources in the economy to enable the implementation of an effective fiscal policy that contributes to increasing production and reducing the heavy dependence on foreign products.
belgacem bendar Ismahene HamidaneMechir Louardi

http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jeemr/article/view/4211

E-commerce, like other commercial practices, requires certain conditions to be met in order to be practiced. This is what the Algerian legislator has approved in Law No. 18-05 on e-commerce - which is considered the first independent law regulating e-commerce transactions in Algeria - therefore our study aimed to shed light on the fact that the national card for electronic suppliers is considered a basic regulator for practicing this type of trade, due to the importance of this card in controlling the virtual market on the one hand, and in protecting the electronic consumer on the other hand.

The problem of our research focused in particular on the legal status of persons who engage in e-commerce activity through social networking sites, for example, without being members of this card, and the extent to which they are subject to the provisions of the aforementioned law? In order to answer this problem, we relied on the analytical and descriptive approaches, to finally reach the most important result, which is that the National Center for the Commercial Registry is responsible for creating this card through its electronic portal. We also suggested to the concerned center the necessity of facilitating the joining of this card by merchants and craftsmen.
Siefeddine Rahali Nora lakehal

http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jeemr/article/view/4223

For years, endowment funds have been the basis of financial stability for universities and charitable organizations, providing key resources necessary to support academic, research, and philanthropic initiatives. A significant shift in recent years has been allocating these funds to stimulate startup growth and increase the overall economic impact. It covers many mechanisms through which an endowment fund can actively invest in startups, including direct investment, venture capital partnerships, and creative, impact-oriented methodologies. The current research will closely examine several successful cases of endowment strategies at Yale and Stanford within international contexts, discussing Russian universities' challenges and outlining immense opportunities and complex challenges related to early-stage venture investment. That is, investments in startups can yield considerable financial returns; at the same time, however, they contain many significant hazards like the illiquidity and volatility of markets. To avoid these risks, endowment managers must utilize several strategies, including but not limited to diversification, staged investing, and due diligence.
Hassiba Almi Raed Awashreh

http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jeemr/article/view/4228

This research endeavors to elucidate the historical context of oil pricing and to investigate the repercussions of the Arab Spring, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Ukraine conflict on oil prices. Additionally, it seeks to analyze the future potential and viability of denominating oil transactions in a currency, or multiple currencies, alternative to the U.S. dollar. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology, presenting fundamental concepts pertaining to oil pricing, the historical trajectory of pricing mechanisms, and a chronological exposition of the Arab Spring, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Ukraine conflict, thereby illustrating their impacts on the oil market and their influence on pricing mechanisms.

The findings of this study confirm that oil pricing is predominantly conducted in U.S. dollars and that global events have not significantly altered the internationally established pricing mechanisms. Achieving a departure from U.S. dollar dominance necessitates the collective address of specific conditions and scenarios by oil-exporting nations. However, the prevailing lack of political consensus and cooperation among these nations, coupled with their increasing reliance on the U.S. dollar, renders a shift from dollar hegemony highly improbable, particularly in the short-term.
soraya Benderradji amar Hamidat

http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jeemr/article/view/4234

This study explores the impact of the informal economy on economic diversification efforts in Algeria. Despite various government initiatives, the informal sector to grow, posing significant challenges to formalization, fiscal policy, and sustainable development. The research aims to diagnose the structure and dynamics of the informal economy, identify the factors driving its expansion, and assess its effects on diversification strategies. Using a qualitative analytical approach, the study draws on national and international data, official statistics, and previous literature. Findings reveal that the informal economy distorts market competition, undermines tax revenue, deters foreign investment, and perpetuates structural inefficiencies. Key drivers include excessive bureaucracy, high tax burdens, low regulatory quality, limited financial inclusion, and persistent unemployment. The study concludes that the informal economy acts both as a socio-economic buffer and a barrier to long-term reform. To mitigate its negative impact, the paper recommends a comprehensive strategy focusing on institutional reform, improved governance, targeted incentives, digitalization, and expanded social protection. These measures are essential to create an inclusive, competitive, and diversified Algerian economy.
Merwan Djahmi Faouzi Smaali
