Author's instructions

introduction

the journal of Science and Knowledge Horizons focuses on how to obtain research results through human studies and works to encourage research in them. Only enduring, cross-disciplinary humanities study that can be generalized across different fields achieves results.
The journal welcomes research papers related to the fields of humanities that improve the quality of research or that can be used to develop this field.
The journal's articles explore changes in research that encourage the humanities to promote best practices within society.
The journal provides an outlet for high-quality, double-blind, peer-reviewed studies. By doing so, the journal ensures that these studies reach a global audience of scholars and researchers who recognize the importance of research in this field as drivers that base their decisions on new ideas and results in this field.
The journal was created under the auspices of the University of Laghouat, affiliated with the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research. The journal publishes its content in the form of theoretical articles and multiple studies that use different methods, some practice-oriented, some teaching-oriented, and case studies of current trends in the humanities and social sciences. The journal publishes cutting-edge research on topics in the humanities and appeals to a wide range of readers. The editors welcome topic suggestions for special issues.
Journal articles should explain contextual differences, and highlight lessons learned for the wider audience.
In short, it is an interdisciplinary journal in the field of humanities dedicated to developing research and theoretical and practical knowledge in several fields.

Editing process

The editorial board consists of professors and university researchers from different countries who follow up on the review processes. Editors evaluate the paper, the value it will add, the problem statement, and the appropriate methodology. Research papers that do not fall within the scope of the journal are rejected, usually within a period of up to a month or fifteen days. Papers are reviewed using a double-blind system.

Referees are asked to read the article and accept the review. If the paper is accepted, we ask them to tell us who would be interested in the results and why.

Contribute and make suggestions, which should be primarily of an editorial nature. These comments will be considered by the editors before sending their decision to the author. Which changes are needed and which papers will be of interest to the journal's readers are  judged by the editors.

Papers accepted by the journal will provide immediate access and citation to final manuscripts before they are released.

Publishing ethics

Declaration of competing interests

All authors must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence their work. Send article,

The suggestion is that the selected work must not have been previously published, the work must not have been submitted to another journal, and consent must be obtained from all authors for publication, whether express or implied.

If the article is accepted, the authors pledge not to publish the work in the same form in another journal.

Use inclusive language

Inclusive language recognizes diversity, communicates respect for all individuals, takes into account differences, and promotes equality of opportunity. The Content must not make any assumptions about the beliefs or commitments of any reader; It should not contain anything that suggests that one person is superior to another on the basis of age, gender, race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, disability or health condition; And use inclusive language at all times. Authors must ensure that writing is free of bias, stereotypical language, slang, references to dominant culture, and/or cultural assumptions. We recommend striving for gender neutrality by using plural nouns (“doctors, patients/clients”) as the default/where possible to avoid using “he,” “she,” or “him/her.” When using coding terminology, we recommend avoiding derogatory or exclusionary terms such as “master,” “slave,” “blacklist,” and “whitelist.” We suggest using more apps

. These guidelines are intended to serve as a reference point to help determine appropriate language but are by no means exhaustive or definitive.

Advertising Generative Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Writing
The guidelines below refer only to the writing process, not to using AI tools to analyze and derive insights from data as part of the research process.
When authors use generative artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-powered technologies in the writing process, authors should only use these technologies to improve readability and language. The technology must be applied with human supervision and control, and authors must carefully review and edit the results, as AI can produce seemingly reliable output that may be incorrect, incomplete, or biased. Artificial Intelligence and AI-Powered Technologies should not be listed as an author or co-author, or cited as an author. Authorship involves responsibilities and tasks that can only be attributed and performed by humans
Authors must disclose in their manuscripts the use of AI and AI-supported technologies in the writing process by following the instructions below. A statement will appear in the published work. Please note that the authors are ultimately responsible and accountable for the contents of the work.

Preparing analytical reports based on sex and gender

Orientation reports

For research involving or relating to humans, animals, or eukaryotic cells, researchers must incorporate sex and gender analyzes (SGBA) into their research in accordance with funder requirements and best practices in the field.

Authors should address gender dimensions in their article. If they cannot, they should discuss this as a limitation of the generalizability of their research. Authors should explicitly state the definitions of sex or gender they apply to enhance their research and replicability and to avoid ambiguity or confusion between the terms and constructs they refer to.

Authors can refer to the Sex and Gender Equity in Research (SAGER) Guidelines and the SAGER Guidelines Checklist. These methods provide a methodology for the use and editorial review of sex-related information in study design, data analysis, reporting of results and interpretation of research – however, please note that there is no single, universally agreed-upon set of guidelines for determining sex and gender.

Changes in authorship

The authors carefully consider the list and order of authors before submitting the manuscript and submit the final list of authors at the time of original submission. Any addition, deletion or rearrangement of author names in the author list should only be done before acceptance of the manuscript and only if approved by the journal editor.

Only in exceptional circumstances will the editor consider adding, deleting or rearranging authors after the manuscript has been accepted. While the editor considers the submission, publication of the manuscript will be suspended. If the manuscript has already been published in an online issue, any submissions approved by the editor will result in a correction.
