Impact of the use of collaborative learning (peer learning) on learning some basic skills in volleyball
Abstract
The study aims at identifying the effect of cooperative learning (peer learning) on learning some basic skills of volleyball (ace, block, spike), highlighting the relationship between peer learning and learning some basic skills of volleyball (the ace, the block, the spike). The researchers hypothesized that the peer learning has a positive effect on learning some basic volleyball skills. Moreover, there is a significant correlation between them.
The researchers used the Empirical Research which is more suitable for this kind of study. The sample included 40 students from the “Department of Physical and Sports Education” of the University of Boumerdes. The pre tests of these skills were done. The students were divided into two equal groups. After applying the teaching method and doing post tests, the researchers used the appropriate statistical methods. results were as follow:
- The effect of the cooperative method (peer learning) on learning some basic skills of volleyball.
- There are significant correlations between the accuracy of volleyball skills and the attention’s concentration.
