Child sexual abuse and the absence of a repeat culture

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to stop the most important reasons that prevent parents from reporting that their child has been sexually harassed in Iraqi society despite the existence of a penal code, it is true that it is not strict, but it may be a deterrent. The questionnaire was given to individuals in the same research sample, and after calculating the percentages and frequencies, the research reached several results, the most important of which is that 37% answered that the harasser is incestuous, and this is a sufficient reason to remain silent about the crime of harassment for fear of scandal and shame, which came in 70% of the response of the sample of the research
