This requires moving away from relying on the teacher alone to provide information, and searching for modern strategies that shift the center of activity in the educational process from the teacher to the learner, as the learner is considered one of the main axes of the educational process. This is done through organized and planned behavioral movements aimed at achieving the desired goals, which is known as the strategy. Among these strategies, the cooperative inquiry strategy stands out, which contributes to achieving the previously specified goals. The aim of the research was to prepare educational units using the cooperative inquiry method in developing mental alertness and learning the shooting skills of jumping and ladder basketball for students. The researcher used the experimental method by designing two equivalent groups with a pre- and post-test, in order to suit the nature of the research. The research community was determined from fourth-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Kufa for the academic year 2024-2025. The researcher concluded that the (cooperative inquiry) method had a clear impact on learning to perform the skills of peaceful shooting and jumping with a basketball for fourth-grade students. The method used also contributed to developing mental alertness among students.
mohammad amin Hind Copyright (c) 2025 mohammad amin Hind https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jsssr/article/view/4290 Sat, 28 Jun 2025 20:51:29 +0000 Offensive performance in terms of the spirit of challenge and some physiological variables and physical and motor abilities of junior basketball players http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jsssr/article/view/4291
Developing a measure of the spirit of challenge for junior basketball players, understanding the offensive performance, the spirit of challenge, some physiological variables, and physical and motor abilities of junior basketball players, understanding the relationship between offensive performance, the spirit of challenge, some physiological variables, and physical and motor abilities of junior basketball players, and predicting offensive performance based on the spirit of challenge, some physiological variables, and physical and motor abilities of junior basketball players. Due to the nature of the subject, the survey method, correlational relationships and prediction studies were used in the descriptive approach, and basketball players were identified as the research community. The study determined the players of the Iraqi Junior Basketball League, numbering (10) clubs, with (12) players from each club, with a total of (120) players for the 2023-2024 sports season. The sample for constructing the challenge spirit scale included (100) players, at a rate of (83.33%), and (10) players for the survey, at a rate of (8.33%). The application sample amounted to (48) players, at a rate of (40%). The scientific steps were followed to construct the challenge spirit scale, and the offensive performance tests, physiological variables and abilities were determined. To conduct relationships and extract the regression equation, physical and motor tests were applied to a sample of forty-eight players. Some of the results of the study are as follows: The possibility of predicting offensive performance in terms of the challenge spirit, some physiological variables, and physical and motor abilities of junior basketball players, and the existence of a relationship between Offensive performance and these factors, and the relationship between offensive performance and these factors. The study presented some of the following recommendations and conclusions: In the spirit of offensive performance tests and offensive performance tests
Hani Abd Ani Al-Jubouri Ayman Copyright (c) 2025 Hani Abd Ani Al-Jubouri Ayman https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jsssr/article/view/4291 Sat, 28 Jun 2025 21:17:28 +0000 The most important bio-motor abilities and thei relationship to the accuracy of the complex offensive performance in handball for female students http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jsssr/article/view/4292
The nature of handball performance, represented by changing direction or deception and trying to get rid of the defender to shoot towards the goal, and thus this change requires some physical and motor abilities in the movements to achieve good performance. Accordingly, employing One of the key components of handball performance is the biokinetic skills that are most crucial to skill performance. In order to improve the caliber of graduate students, the research is crucial in determining the role of the most crucial biokinetic skills in certain intricate offensive handball talents and whether there is a positive correlation between them among fourth-year handball players. as they are the basic foundation when learning and training beginners in the country's schools. Regarding the research's issue, and using the observation of the researchers as they are teachers in the college and those interested in the game, There is variation in the amount of performance in some complex offensive skills represented by handling, tapping and shooting as well as tapping, deception, shooting and other complex skills, as well as losing the ball during these skills and failing to shoot, and its causes may be the weak relationship between the most important bio-kinetic abilities and complex offensive skills among fourth-year handball pupils. Regarding the study's goals and based on the researchers' observations as they are teachers in the college and those interested in the game, there is a fluctuation in the level of performance in some complex offensive skills represented by handling, tapping and shooting, as well as tapping, deception, shooting and other complex skills, as well as losing the ball during these skills and failing to shoot, and its causes may be weak in the relationship between the most important bio-kinetic abilities and complex offensive skills among fourth-year handball students. As for the objectives of the study, The goal of the study is to determine how fourth-year handball players' precision of the complex offensive performance relates to their most crucial biokinetic skills. Male and female students in the fourth stage of morning and evening studies at the University of Kufa's College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences make up the research community and its sample (123). Section (A) comprises 39 students who make up the research sample. The researchers came to several conclusions, the most significant of which are that there is a positive correlation between the accuracy of the throwing arm and the variables of various bio-kinetic capacities (explosive ability, strength endurance, and agility) of the legs and throwing arm. complex offensive performance among fourth-year handball students. The most important recommendations: emphasizing the interest in developing the most important bio-kinetic abilities for their role in developing all offensive skills in handball
Amin majhul Zainab Copyright (c) 2025 Amin majhul Zainab https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jsssr/article/view/4292 Sat, 28 Jun 2025 21:24:01 +0000 The effect of visual-motor exercises on developing agility and improving students' tennis volley performance. http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jsssr/article/view/4293
The study included the introduction and importance, where the importance of the study lies in the preparation of (visual-motor) exercises to achieve the desired goal, which is to develop agility and performance of the tennis volley. The problem of the study lies in the lack of use of visual-motor exercises by those in charge of the educational process. The most important goals were to prepare visual-motor exercises and identify the degree of agility. The researchers used the experimental method with pre- and post-tests. The study sample was third-year students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Kufa, to identify the extent of development of the study sample in the skill of the tennis volley. The most important conclusions were that visual-motor exercises have a positive impact on developing the agility of the study sample, that visual-motor exercises have a positive impact in improving the performance of the tennis volley for the study sample. The most important recommendations were the necessity of applying visual-motor exercises to learners, especially students of colleges and departments of physical education and sports sciences, and the necessity of paying attention to activating the role of visual-motor exercises in developing the accuracy of performing basic skills in tennis
Saleh Mahdi Shammam Copyright (c) 2025 Saleh Mahdi Shammam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jsssr/article/view/4293 Sat, 28 Jun 2025 21:29:47 +0000 The philosophical perspective of the universality of human rights; contentious protection of the individual and collective right to draw up legislation and laws http://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jsssr/article/view/4294
This research aims to clarify the dialectical relationship between the universal human rights system and the internal peculiarities of each country in our time, which works with all its might to preserve and protect.
