This is what made the countries of the world a great challenge to care for this segment. Children's health is one of the indicators by which the standard of living in any country is measured. It has made it necessary for international organizations to take action and pay attention to conducting accurate scientific studies and research to find out the main factors and causes of diseases that threaten children’s health, especially diarrhea and respiratory diseases, which are among the main causes of child deaths. According to the World Health Organization, respiratory diseases and diarrhea top the list of infectious diseases that claim the lives of millions of children under the age of five in the world. This is why our study came to determine the most important determinants and extent of the prevalence or not of children under five years of age suffering from respiratory diseases and diarrhea, based on the national survey 2012-2013 and the 2019 survey in Algeria.
Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social Scienceshttp://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/ssj/article/view/4188Rapid automatic naming and its relationship to reading speed in deaf students with cochlear implants and normal students - a comparative study-2025-04-14T20:04:23+00:00Kenza TAMDJIATkenza.tamdjiat@univ-alger2.dz
The study aims to identify and reveal the relationship between rapid automatic naming tasks and reading speed among deaf students with cochlear implants and compare them with normal students, on a sample of (N80) students from the third and fifth levels of primary school, distributed into (N20) deaf students with cochlear implants and (N60) normal students, aged between (9-13 years).
