Employment of Resources and Capabilities and Its Impact on The Rise of Nations: Dhul-Qarnayn as a Model."
Abstract
The aim of this study is to highlight the experiences of nations and peoples in utilizing their available potentials and resources in their civilizational development, and to draw lessons and inspiration from the story of Dhul-Qarnayn as a model for civilizational advancement. The study concluded that the most important potentials necessary for civilizational progress include science and knowledge, deepening of faith and values, legislation of laws, as well as effective and wise leadership that can direct human and natural resources towards achieving its goals,
all of which are embodied in the personality of Dhul-Qarnayn.
