The struggle of Prince Khaled Al-Hashemi 1913-1936 AD in the footsteps of the greats
Abstract
The history of Algeria’s resistance to the French colonialists, at any stage between 1830 and 1962 AD, was not devoid of central and pivotal figures who were at the forefront of the struggle, whether militarily, politically or culturally, with the utmost self and worth to combat this occupier and defend the right of the Algerians to their freedom and independence. Among these lofty national symbols is Prince Khaled. Al-Hashemi Algerian, who was one of the pioneers of the peaceful struggle in the first quarter of the twentieth century, using all available means, including the press, elections, diplomatic activity, and even theatrical groups, to defend the political and social demands of the Algerians within what was known as the Equality Movement, which Prince Khaled established and fought for between 1913 until His death.
