A naos stela from Tuna el-Gabel is in the Museum of Egyptology, Faculty of Archeology, Cairo University
Abstract
The paper deals with the complete scientific publication of one of the naos stela. This naos stela was found at the site of Tuna El-Gebel, the necropolis of the Ashmounyin district, in Minya Governorate, Middle Egypt. The stela is currently preserved in the Museum of Egyptology at the Faculty of Archeology, Cairo University. It is one of the stelae that emerged from the excavations of the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, led by Sami Gabra in 1936 AD. Scenes and inscriptions of the stela have not been published yet. This is the first publication of the stela containing a translation of the texts on it and a description of the scene inscribed the stela.
