It shows how these women of letters found themselves caught between Islamist terror, the constraints of a patriarchal system, and the ambiguous expectations of the Western publishing world. The study highlights the triple marginalization they faced: as women, intellectuals, and Francophone writers. Faced with threats and exile, their fiction often adopted a more introspective and symbolic form, privileging memory, fiction, and aesthetic resistance rather than raw testimony. Far from disengagement, their literary voice constituted a strategy of survival and protest against imposed erasure. Thus, Algerian women's writing of/about the 1990s became a space for reclaiming identity and resisting political and social violence.
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4619 The impact of information and communication technology on the marketing mix. 2026-06-18T06:28:31+00:00 Abdelhamid BELHADEF belhadef.abdelhamid@gmail.com GBADEBO Adedeji gbadebo.adedejidaniel@gmail.com
This study highlights the critical role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in enhancing the effectiveness of the marketing mix and strengthening organizational competitiveness. The significant expansion of their use has sparked important debates about their impact on legal principles, such as intellectual property. Calls for formal regulation of AI have grown in recent years, particularly with the emergence of generative AI models that have made it more accessible than ever before. This raises the question: to what extent can AI be used in the branches and fields of law ? This article aims to define the relationship between AI and branches and fields of law. The study employs an analytical approach for textual criticism, a descriptive approach for data analysis, and a comparative approach for examining different legislations. It concludes with several findings, most notably the increasing and rapid spread of AI use across various branches and fields of law. The article concludes with recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of regulating AI use in legal branches and fields, given the complex issues it raises.
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4622 Digital Sovereignty and Its Relationship to National Sovereignty and the Security and Stability of Societies 2026-06-18T06:35:10+00:00 Maysaa Zoheir Said Almadhoun m_z_sm@hotmail.com
Sovereignty has long been one of the most influential and enduring concepts in political thought. Throughout history, it has justified wars, mobilized armies, and inspired popular revolutions, remaining inseparably linked to the notion of independence for centuries. In the contemporary era, however, threats to sovereignty no longer stem exclusively from conventional military power or physical coercion. Instead, they increasingly originate from digital technologies, software systems, and cyber tools that operate through codes, algorithms, and covert communication channels. As a result, states, economies, and societies have become increasingly vulnerable to digital threats, giving rise to what may be described as a new dimension of sovereignty—digital sovereignty.

This study seeks to examine the concept of digital sovereignty, its foundations, and its relationship to national sovereignty in both its political and economic dimensions, as well as its implications for the security and stability of societies. It also explores the position of Arab states within this evolving landscape amid the growing scale and complexity of cyber threats. To this end, the study traces the historical development of the concept of national sovereignty and analyzes the key factors that have contributed to its transformation in the digital age. It further clarifies the concept of digital sovereignty, highlighting its significance, justifications, domains, and levels. The study concludes that achieving digital sovereignty requires states to develop comprehensive capabilities across multiple domains, including digital infrastructure, legal and regulatory frameworks, human capital, technological innovation, and international cooperation. Moreover, digital sovereignty should not be understood as a static or final objective, but rather as a dynamic and continuous process that necessitates constant adaptation to the rapid and multifaceted transformations of the digital environment.
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4623 An Analytical Overview of the Legal Protection of the Environmental Refugee 2026-06-18T06:27:59+00:00 Elhadi Khadraoui e.khadraoui@lagh-univ.dz Ali Atmani a.atmani@cu-aflou.edu.dz
The phenomenon of environmental asylum and its repercussions on international relations is one of the issues that has captured the interest of many jurists, politicians and economists particularly in light of the various implications of this phenomenon on several countries. Based on a multidisciplinary corpus of 31 publications (academic articles, institutional reports, and legislative texts), the diachronic analysis identifies three major phases: (i) the emergence of the skills-performance link (1985-2007), (ii) institutionalization through workforce planning (2006-2018), and (iii) contemporary reconfiguration around digitalization, collective intelligence, and sustainability (2020-2025). The main contribution lies in an integrative synthesis that sheds light on the hybridization process of management tools, while also highlighting persistent blind spots (challenges for SMEs, organizational unlearning, and limitations of systemic integration). This article proposes avenues for empowering and sustainable skills management, and sheds light on the theoretical implications for organizational learning models as well as the practical implications for designing resilient HR ecosystems. AI is now employed to analyze submitted cases, predict verdicts, and support judges with data‑driven recommendations. This evolution has accelerated litigation procedures, enhanced the precision of rulings, and reduced the scope of human bias.

Despite these benefits, AI’s use raises legal and ethical challenges concerning the transparency of deployed algorithms and the potential for bias arising from their programming or input data. Additional concerns include risks to the privacy of litigation parties.

Consequently, it is imperative to establish religious and legal safeguards that ensure AI remains an auxiliary tool for judges, preserving their advisory role without supplanting judicial authority. Adopting a mixed-methods approach, the study collected quantitative data from a survey of ninety five (95) Master One students at the department of English Setif 2 University, and qualitative data through focus group discussions with twelve (12) participants. The findings indicate that ChatGPT is frequently used for grammar correction, writing practice, and vocabulary enhancement, with users reporting moderate to high perceived improvements, particularly in writing fluency and grammatical accuracy. However, the tool was found to be less effective in supporting speaking and reading development. While learners expressed enthusiasm for ChatGPT’s immediacy and accessibility, concerns emerged regarding overreliance on AI-generated feedback and the tool’s limited cultural relevance. Thematic analysis revealed additional insights into learner autonomy, engagement, and the indispensable role of teacher feedback. Grounded in Constructivist and Sociocultural Theory, the study concludes that ChatGPT may serve as a valuable supplement to EFL instruction, provided it is integrated thoughtfully within a balanced, context-sensitive pedagogical framework. The findings may have implications for language teaching practices, curriculum design, and future AI development in culturally diverse educational settings.
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4631 Photogrammetric Survey and Its Applications in Historical Studies and Documentation of Archaeological Remains 2026-06-18T06:27:52+00:00 Qadda Labtar qadda.labtar@univ-tlemcen.dz Zeyneb Khettab zeyneb.khettab@univ-tlemcen.dz
This study examines photogrammetric surveying as a methodological tool in archaeological documentation, moving beyond theoretical description to analytical application. The integration of AI tools has started to be widely used in language teaching, which has raised much interest among many researchers who are trying to explain the pedagogical implications of such integration in language classrooms. ESP as a branch of ELT is not an exception to this trend. The current research work centres on the problem of restructuring the ESP learning process in terms of ICC around new AI tools, which assist in achieving greater inclusion, diversity and accessibility. To do so, a descriptive and analytical approach has been adopted, one that integrates a systematic review of contemporary empirical and design-based studies concentrating on AI interventions encountered in the ESP context with the thematic analysis of pedagogical designs and the outcomes documented in the studies. From the analysis, it is evident that chatbots, adaptive platforms, and other AI tools are being utilised to improve learner engagement, offer personalised adaptive feedback to support learners at different levels, and address inclusion and accessibility gaps. However, there are challenges including insufficient AI competency among educators, ethical and data privacy issues, cultural bias of AI, and the possibility of being overly dependent on AI and other tools as part of the pedagogy, which may result in a fragmented approach to instruction.
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4633 Technological Approaches to Mitigate Museum Absenteeism at the Timgad Site Museum 2026-06-18T06:27:50+00:00 Chaima Telaoumaten chaima.telaoumaten@univ-alger2.dz Lakhdar Salim Guebboub lakhdar.salim.guebboub@univ-alger2.dz
Today, the world is witnessing an unprecedented acceleration in technological developments that fundamentally affect various aspects of life, including the management and presentation of cultural heritage. It also draws on the Cambridge Analytica case to demonstrate how apparently consensual data collection can become a large-scale violation of informational privacy. The findings show that Algerian legislation has established important guarantees, including consent, information, access, rectification, objection, regulatory control and sanctions. However, the effectiveness of this protection remains limited by weak practical enforcement, insufficient public awareness, the absence of a fully operational culture of compliance, and the need for clearer rules on algorithmic profiling, data portability, breach notification and international transfers. The article recommends strengthening the National Authority, developing sector-specific compliance guidelines, improving digital literacy, aligning selected mechanisms with GDPR standards and ensuring that digital transformation remains compatible with human dignity and fundamental rights.
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4644 The Role of International Law in the Protection of Cultural Heritage 2026-06-18T06:27:11+00:00 lyakout Arar l.arar@cu-aflou.edu.dz
All nations are committed to preserving their cultural heritage, a vital expression of human life across social, economic, and political contexts. Cultural heritage plays a significant role in safeguarding and revitalizing national identity, serving as the collective memory of a community's knowledge, craftsmanship, and beliefs. Consequently, it is protected and nurtured both nationally and internationally. The protection of cultural heritage has attracted considerable international attention due to its immense value and the numerous threats it faces, including war, theft, trafficking, and the impacts of globalization. These threats pose serious risks to cultural heritage at both national and global levels. In response, several international initiatives have been launched, playing a crucial role in ensuring its preservation and protection.
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4646 The Separation of Powers in Islamic Political Jurisprudence and Its Manifestations in Contemporary Constitutional Systems 2026-06-18T06:27:10+00:00 Mohammed Djokhdem dmsdbws@gmail.com Rafeq Hamed Zaid Mohammed Al-Shameri Rafeq Hamed Rafeqhamed49@gmail.com
This article examines the principle of separation of powers from the perspective of Islamic political jurisprudence, seeking to uncover its historical roots in the classical Islamic legal tradition and its intersection with contemporary Western constitutional theories. The study proceeds from the hypothesis that Islamic jurisprudence established a comprehensive framework for the distribution of sovereign functions among governing institutions, albeit under different terminology and mechanisms. The research adopts a comparative analytical methodology, drawing on classical Islamic jurisprudential sources and constitutional texts from several Muslim-majority states. The study concludes that there is a substantive convergence between the principle of Shura and constitutional oversight on the one hand, and the functional separation of powers on the other, while highlighting the Islamic specificity grounded in Shari'a as the supreme authority over all powers. The article recommends the development of a contemporary Islamic constitutional model that balances divine sovereignty with the requirements of the modern state and popular participation
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4647 These for mainstreaming an Anti- Corruption culture : Between the Positivist System and Islamic legislation 2026-06-18T06:27:08+00:00 Samia Maatouk samia.maatouk@univ-oeb.dz Dounia Kadem dounia.kadem@univ-oeb.dz
This research addresses the issue of corruption, which is one of the old and ever-evolving topics that various positivist approaches have dealt with by strengthening their legal and institutional frameworks. Recently, there has been increased discussion about this issue. It appears that the lack of clarity in approach and the neglect of the foundational aspect of the topic have contributed to the failure of previous attempts to address it. Therefore, this research, which employed the inductive and analytical methods, aims to review the methods and means of treatment. As a result, Islamic law emerges here as a strong and comprehensive frame of reference to address the problem of corruption, reflecting the importance of integrating religious and moral foundations in efforts to combat the phenomenon
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4648 The Verses of Legal Rulings in Works on Problematic Qur’anic Exegesis 2026-06-18T06:27:07+00:00 Sheireen Kazem Bnoon dr.sh.b1443@gmail.com
The study aims to examine the verses of legal rulings discussed in Dafʿ Iyhām al-Idtirāb, clarify their meanings, and present the objections raised by the author, followed by an analysis of the jurisprudential issues derived from them. It also seeks to address contemporary issues in light of the guidance and rulings of these verses. The significance of the research lies in its focus on the jurisprudential aspects of the verses and its integration of fiqh, Qur’anic sciences, and tafsīr, offering a multidisciplinary perspective. The research problem centers on the misunderstandings some may have regarding the legal rulings related to these verses. The study includes an introduction outlining its importance, questions, objectives, scholarly contribution, scope, methodology, and structure, followed by two sections: the first on the verses from Sūrat Āl ʿImrān and the second on those from Sūrat al-Nisā’. Using an inductive and analytical approach, the study concludes by resolving the objections raised by the author and examining the rulings of the verses, covering eight major issues. It also identifies contemporary matters addressed by these rulings, such as the dilution of Islamic identity through Western imitation, family issues like marital discord, social issues such as inheritance disputes, and legal matters that provide preventive safeguards for society. The study recommends dedicating independent research to verses of legal rulings that people commonly find problematic and linking them to contemporary issues within educational curricula.
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4649 The Quest for Scientific Knowledge through the Quranic Verses: Representation of Embryology in the Holy Quran 2026-06-18T06:27:06+00:00 aouataf gasmi a.gasmi@crsic.dz siham hachani s.hachani@lagh-univ.dz
Ever from the dawn of mankind, we have attempted to understand nature and our existence. For many people, science is the only legitimate source and ideal presentation of true information whilst others view religion as another authentic source. There was a sense of tension between science and religion because of this paradoxical viewpoint. Islam is no different. In light of the Quran, the primary text of the Islamic faith, this study investigates this exaggerated struggle. In essence, the study is a critique of scientism, which is defined as "the philosophy that takes for granted the idea of science being the nonpareil font for real lore." It primarily raises the question of how human-obtained scientific truth and Quranic scientific revealed truth relate to one another. The purpose of the research is to map people's perceptions of the Quran's conductivity as a genuine, accurate, and trustworthy source to explore difficult contemporary issues and preserve its coexistence with science in an era of scientific advancement. In addition to data collected from a questionnaire for Muslim physicians, the study offers a scientific-linguistic examination of a few chosen Quranic passages pertaining to embryology to guarantee a thorough comprehension. The study's conclusions demonstrate that the Quran creates a vision of the scientific mind and show that the idea of conflict is strongly disapproved of from an Islamic standpoint. Furthermore, it demonstrates the enormous possibility for harmony between the Quran and science, notwithstanding their different domains
2026-06-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) https://journals.lagh-univ.dz/index.php/jskp/article/view/4650 Digital Humanities and AI Ethics 2026-06-18T06:27:05+00:00 Hassina Benreguia hassina.benreguia@univ-constantine3.dz David Berry D.M.Berry@sussex.ac.uk
This article offers an in-depth review of Chapter Forty-Two, 'Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, and Digital Humanities', from 'The Bloomsbury Handbook of Digital Humanities' (2023).
