Abstract :

This researchpaperpresents a discussion of pragmatics, itsdefinition, questions, context of origin, and areas of application, alongwith a presentation of its translation in the Arab world, followed by a review of the theoriesthatestablishedit, includinglinearpragmatics, integratedpragmatics, speech actpragmatics, and finally cognitive pragmatics.

Based on the above, weattempted to studythreemodels of Qur'anicdiscourse, employing the mostprominenttheories of pragmatics, especially speech acttheory, highlighting the paths of meaning production and its construction processes, whichconfirms, on the one hand, the semanticdensitythatcharacterizesQur'anicdiscourse, and, on the other hand, the ability of pragmatics to trace meaning and inferit at various stages and levels of pragmatics.
