Archiving and Digital Preservation
The Social Empowerment Journal (SEJ) ensures the long-term accessibility and preservation of its published content by archiving all articles in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) — a LOCKSS-based system that guarantees distributed, secure, and permanent digital storage.

Official Verification: As a testament to our commitment, SEJ’s archival status is officially recognized and verified by the Keepers Registry. This milestone is reflected in the official ISSN Portal, confirming that our scholarly content is being actively preserved within the global "Keepers Network" of digital repositories.
In addition, SEJ supports repository deposit in recognized institutional and subject-specific repositories, managed by academic institutions, research communities, or governmental organizations.
The journal is also registered in the:
Directory of Open Access Repositories: https://openpolicyfinder.jisc.ac.uk/id/publication/44836
SEJ adheres to open access best practices, including:
- Immediate availability of all articles upon publication.
- Provision of complete and accurate metadata to support indexing and discoverability.
- Compliance with international standards for digital preservation.
All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), allowing users to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given.
