الملخص

تعتبر المدن الذكية مبادرة تقنية طويلة المدى و هي كيان يعتمد على بنية تحتية تتمثل في تقنيات المعلومات و تكنولوجيات الاتصال الحديثة  و التي تمكن من إدارة المدينة بكفاءة،  فقد اعتمدت الدراسة على آلية عمل ومنهجية تتمثل في مجموعة من الخطوات  و التي كانت بدايتها  بالإشارة إلى جملة المفاهيم النظرية حول المدن الذكية بالإضافة إلى أهم الدوافع و الأهداف من أجل انشاء المدن الذكية ، و ذلك ضمن  متطلباتها وابعادها الرئيسية من أجل تطويرها، على ان يكون هناك تحليل لجملة من التجارب و الإنجازات سواء كان ذلك على المستوى العالمي أو على المستوى العربي، على ان توضح الدراسة نتيجة مفادها  ان المدن الذكية أصبحت اكثر من  ضرورة في الوقت الراهن خاصة في تحسين جودة حياة الافراد ومجابهة المشكلات الاجتماعية و الاقتصادية وتحقيق  التنمية
