Abstract

T the observer of the reality of family relations finds them characterized by a group of crises and conflicts due to the search for self through the imbalance of those roles as a result of a set of contradictions about the constants of identity between what is traditional and what is contemporary. These crises turned into developments that are difficult to be understood at the level of social relations. The issue became more than gender roles but a crisis of gender identities , that was by the change the expectation of individuals and their ambitions in life accordingly with the changes dictated by contemporary life This is mainly due to the social status of the society in general, embodied in one of its most important institutions, namely, the family, which has become weak in the management of its members, by forming a new perception of their notion of identity through the reality drawn by these current social changes So we will try to in this research paper to answer the following question: to what extent contemporary life changes at family level contributed in the appearance of gender identity crisis that led to the change in roles towards social relations between the two genders?
