Assault by bladed weapons from the perspective of the victimology

Abstract

In order to study assault by bladed weapons from the perspective of victimology, we started
by identifying some of the necessary concepts ,then we presented the theories that explain the role
of the victim in crime and deviation in general from that, we extracted some social and
psychological factors that make the victim vulnerable to the attack by bladed weapons, that is to say
the victim; sometimes plays a role in the attack by his reckless behavior and provocation of the
aggressor, or of him being a member in a group of criminals and taking drugs and alcohol, another
factor is his criminal record, as well as his residencein hotbeds of crime, besides the similarities in
some demographic characteristics with the offender such as sex, age, educational level and class
