The Relationship between Geographical Mobility and the Psychosocial Adaptation of Adolescents sons of Members of the National Gendarmerie
Abstract
This study aims to determine the nature of the relationship between geographic mobility and psycho-social adaptation in adolescents - sons of gendarmes. It was conducted on a sample of 60 people randomly selected, divided into two groups, the first of which consisted of 35 individuals who moved geographically, and the second of 25 adolescents who did not experience this phenomenon of geographical mobility. Our method of research was the comparative descriptive , consolidated by the case study. The results obtained showed the following: 1- The existence of a statistically significant correlation between geographical mobility and psycho-social adaptation.2- The levels of adaptation in the stable group vary between medium and high, by against these same levels vary between the faile and the means in the group which has been the object of a geographical mobility.3- Non-existence of difference in the social psychological adaptation according to the age and the sex in the group which has been geographically mobile
