The desert cities of southern Morocco from the style of Bedouin to the need for urbanization -a look at the social and urban transformations
Abstract
The desert cities of southern Morocco have been closed for a while due to the customs and traditions of the society in these cities as well as the customs it operates. However, the current trend of development in the modern world has made the desert city open to others without conditions or restrictions, Such as the late states. This unconditional openness has led to a social transformation that is different from that of the former cities. The changes in the urban character and social structure that are related mainly to different relations, customs and even beliefs have begun to emerge. The march of the desert cities to the pace of urbanization made it move voluntarily from a closed social past to a present that interacts with the concept of modernization, which earned the society a different stereotype of life manifested in the emergence of new behaviors and practices that caused a qualitative shift in the characteristics of the original society.
