The reality of legal protection for people with special needs from the perspective of social service under Algerian legislation
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the reality of legal protection for people with special needs in the legislative field from the perspective of social service in Algeria, and to answer the question of the study, a descriptive (analytical) approach was used for the content of the legal legislation on the handicapped, based on what was stated in the provisions enshrined in the articles contained therein. The International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, or the Algerian law related to the protection and promotion of persons with disabilities, and the results showed that one of the most important legislative problems facing the mobility handicapped is that the reality of the policy of caring for the disabled and the practical and legislative efforts collide with a set of difficulties in the mechanism of their application to reality, and through the results The researcher’s findings recommended a set of suggestions, such as reconsidering some legislations and laws for not keeping some of them in line with the reality of the disabled, in view of the developments taking place on the economic, political and social levels.
