A socio-historical reading of the housing sector in Algeria between new backgrounds and directions.

Abstract

This article aims is diagnosing the reality of Sector public housing in Algeria from
independence until nowadays. The study goes first through analysing the direct reasons,
which have led to the crisis of housing in Algeria and second to the housing policy adapted by
the Algerian government in this vital and strategic sector.
