Abstract

This research is directed to study the psychometric characteristics of
Assessmentoral
language test “ELO” of A Khomsi in order to adapt the test to the linguistic reality
as it is practiced in the Algerian society.
This test is characterized by his capacity to describe all the elements that make up
the language ability, which are mainly the components phonetic, lexical, morphosyntactic,
it is also oriented to studythe language level in both versions, production and receptionin a
population aged between 5 and 10 years.
The results have shown that the ELO test adapted to the Algerian reality answers to
the Criteria of the validity and reliability relating to the rules construct of linguistics tests.
This Algerian version is also sensitive for differences between classes of ages and the
