Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the relationship between cognitive method. Independence
and dependence on cognitive area and personality traits at truck drivers who are
Involved In fatal traffic accidents. And the study sample has included (36) truck driver
had Committed a fatal traffic accidents and they have been selected through Intentionality
sample and applied on them the following tools :
The test of the forms included picture Association of preparation ‘witken ‘ 1962
Anwar al-Sharkawy and Suleiman al-hadari Sheikh had translate it into arabic and
Adapted it with the Egyptian environment ( 1977) . And the list of the five major factors of
the personality preparation of (Costaomacri)arabization and legalization of Badr al-Din
al-Ansari in 2001. The study concluded that there was no statistically significant
relationship between cognitive style reliance and independence on the cognitive domain,
and personal attributes of the five dimensions of the truck drivers involved in fatal traffic
accidents.
