Abstract

Citizenship is considered one of the concepts that formed very important dimensions,
and is considered of the demands of the development of basic societies for its essence
towards achieving its wanted goals for constructing a strong civilian society standing on
the principle of equality, and respect of the diversity and ideas, and when its safe, the
society heads toward development and enjoys prosperity and stability, and when it
weakens between the individuals of the society it becomes a fragile entity moved by the
fragments of the age, for that this search paper came in order to identify and uncover the
effect of cultural globalization on the citizenship concept in the Algerian society, the first
endeavors to sell out the global citizenship concept over the local citizenship which can
weaken the citizenship values for the citizen and strengthen his affiliation and his loyalty
for the abroad
