Abstract

This study aims to find out to what extent play the role of social communication out
by the Amel Association to educate diabetic patients and in acquiring the skills and
behaviors to live with their illness, as well as knowledge of the extent of their commitment
to the instructions for follow-up treatment. To reach these goals, the researchers applied
questionnaire on a sample of 130 patients was chosen intentionally. After analyzing the
data, the study revealed the following results:
-Diabetics Association contribute to give patients health information enables them to
gain a healthy culture to protect them from risks and complications of the illness.
- The majority of patients with diabetes lack the special follow the diet and do a
medical examination and to make changes in their behavior to support their efforts in the
self-management of the health commitment.
