Westernization approaches and their applications to the Arab Islamic culture, an analytical and critical study

Abstract

This article deals with an extremely important topic, it is the subject of
research methods and tools used by the orientalists with the subjects of the Islamic
culture, which seemed to us that it was not in their respective and deliberately
committed areas intended for her endless. As orientalists have modulated
approaches purposes primarily offensive to Islamic issues. Strange that this
orientalist vision has convinced some of our thinkers, who fell consciously or
unconsciously influenced by this trend, believing that in the heart of the scientific
method, they defended and supported some of these false ideas.
In this article, try by a critical analytical study, addressing the most important
of these methods of studies that addressed the themes of Islamic thought,
representatives of the most arbitrary applications, highlighting weaknesses in its use
and so alert to the need to respect the requirements of the scientific method and the
fair principles of objectivity and avoid subjectivity and arbitrariness in the judgments
that the institutions of Western alienation and the cultural invasion practice when it
comes to issues of Islamic thought.
