Spelling and its relationship to language skills

Abstract

dictation occupies an important place on the writing map in Arabic for it
represents the foundation and cornestone in understanding what is written and
presenting it correctly and in a clear way. what makes it more important (dictation)
is that an error during it can result in corrupting the meaning, for the conotation
word is associated with the convictional form so if its drawing changed then surely
its significance Which leads eventually to corrupting the meaning that the owner
wanted. We have decided in this research to handle this matter -dictationtheoretically in terms of tracing the concept, importance and objectives, then the
ways and types of dictation and its corrections in addition to clarifying its relation
with language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
