The decline of values related to early marriage and childbearing in Algerian society, an analytical sociological vision

Abstract

After independence the Algerian society has undergone profound mutation, in
the various areas; economic, social and political. This results in a large number of
concrete indicators that embody forms of this transformation and change which
extends with its effects throughout the social landscape. On this basis and from these
considerations, this paper aims to identify and analyze mutations of the values that
underlie the family organization in Algerian society, namely that of marriage age ,
and fertility
