The demographic transition in Algeria

Abstract

This article aims to describe Algeria current and past demographic situation.
Where we have highlighted the changes that have occurred in levels (births,
deaths and population growth) across different period and stand on the most
important reasons that have contributed in creating these changes. As well as to
make a comparison between these levels and levels of neighbors countries Tunisia
and Morocco because they resemble Algeria in a various properties, on the other
hand we have been indicated the path of theory demographic transition and to
which stage Algeria reached
