Abstract

The increasing interest of modern societies in practicing sports in light of the era of open skies, as it represents the wide spread of television through satellite channels, reinforced the saying of the famous communication scientist "Marshall McLuhan" about the communication revolution, which, according to him, contributed to transforming the world into a small village because of what these means of communication occur. Foremost among them is television, which works to speed up the transfer of events, and its contribution to setting a general pattern through which they learn about their cultures, especially what is related to sports, which has become more global and comprehensive thanks to this medium, which has been able to do what this comprehensiveness of sport has done in its ability to bring the world together. All in one stadium in football matches in the World Cup tournaments, although we cannot be certain that this comprehensiveness and universality of sport would not have been possible without the presence of television.
