Abstract

In pursuit of the social studies of the local reality, I thought that this study should include touching on the nature of architecture between urban planning and the local reality in the city of Laghouat, as we had to highlight the influencing factors accompanying the urban planning process emanating from official executive departments and bodies or private architectural engineering studies offices Or pedagogical architects who are active in the urban planning process, as these social actors are considered seeking to implement state policies in their plans for sustainable development within cities.

So that the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire tool were relied on as a technique for collecting field data, and this study was conducted on a sample of forty respondents who were reached in an intentional way, to conclude that the natural, human and economic field of Laghouat has a significant impact on the planning process.
