Peer Review Policy
Avicenna Medical Research employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic excellence. All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field, with strict anonymity maintained for both authors and reviewers. The editorial board makes final publication decisions based on reviewers' recommendations, considering scientific validity, originality, and contribution to medical knowledge. This comprehensive evaluation process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks.
Plagiarism Policy
Avicenna Medical Research enforces a zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. All submitted articles undergo systematic screening using anti-plagiarism software (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate) prior to review. Manuscripts with excessive similarity scores (typically >15–20%) or confirmed plagiarism are immediately rejected. Authors must obtain proper permissions for any reproduced copyrighted material.
