Abstract

La principale indication des macrobiopsies sous stéréotaxie est la détection de foyer de microcalcifications. Cette technique est fiable et peut remplacer les biopsies chirurgicales.
L’utilisation des biopsies stéréotaxiques est en nette augmentation lors de la découverte de lésions infracliniques en particulier à type de foyers de microcalcifications.
La prise en charge des biopsies sous stéréotaxie dans le cadre des prélèvements de microcalcifications est délicate. Le challenge pour le radiologue et le pathologiste est de préserver au maximum de calcifications afin de permettre un diagnostic fiable.
