Abstract

The appearance of modern concept of development refers to the interaction of a
number of events ,perhaps the most notably one was the industrial society after the
industrial revolution which started in Europe and soon it spread all over the world .And
because of the interaction of many factors which had been resulted from the
technological revolution ,a new concept of development appeared including progression
,development and planned change in order to help the society advance and solve problems
.Therefore ,the development subject is one of the most important subjects that preoccupied
many scholars and social thinkers .But somehow ,this subject has had an ambiguity and
different points of view among these thinkers ,and perhaps ,this is due to the diversified
intellectual and ideological points that stand behind its study. Since this subject lies in
many scientific disciplines field .so, how does sociology look at this topic?
