Abstract

Considering that the family is the first cell for the formation of the human society and that it is a necessity, a social demand, and a legitimate right for every individual, then it needs what supports it to meet its needs and perform its functions to continue in a way that guarantees well-being and stability for its members. It represents a basic right of the family and an essential part of the right to life, and it is one of the most important components of life. Under it, the family performs its functions and is safe from many psychological, physical, moral and social problems. According to various functions and in a technical manner and artistic and aesthetic touches in which it responds to the different and evolving needs of the family and expresses honestly its privacy and preserves its personality and culture, so the dwelling has no importance or meaning without taking into account the evolving and changing requirements of the family with the complexity of life conditions, and among those requirements: comfort, stability, security, Health, well-being, freedom, privacy, and all kinds of social interaction and relationships. And the responsibility of finding a balance between the needs of the family and the functions of the dwelling is borne by sociology, which is concerned with the family and the dwelling together through researching the relationship that binds them in the field of needs and functions.
