Abstract

It is not possible to understand the dynamics of social changes without understanding the development of media and communication. The spread of connective media and the accompanying fluidity of hate speech as a fundamental actor in effecting change have imposed a reconsideration of the concepts used to analyze and interpret the societal changes and their connections to new communication structures. The latter imposes a search for linguistic and conceptual harmonization of them. In order to gain a deeper understanding of hate speech carried through these connectives, we must investigate the mechanisms of operation and reinforcement practiced by connective media as independent institutions that mediate social actions, provide an understanding of reality, and influence user perceptions and behaviors.

our research aims to analyze and interpret the mechanisms of connective media in enabling hate speech, relying on the descriptive-analytical approach given the inability of classical linear models of media effects coupled with audiences to understand and explain the phenomenon of hate speech amplified through connective media, it is necessary to adopt linguistic and conceptual frameworks that accommodate social changes and can interpret them-which is what the concept of connective media signifies.
