Towards a methodology of the Islamization of psychology
Abstract
The browser of intellectual and global heritage in the field of psychology finds great contributions to many Muslim and Arab scholars such as Ibn Sina, Al-Ghazali and Al-Farabi. The West deliberately marginalizes and neglects them. The role of modern Islamic researchers in the field of psychology is to recall their work and Islamization Of the scientific and psychological knowledge that came from the West without being compatible with the Islamic personality and the Islamic environment and its origins. Many scholars, including Muhammad al-Badri and Othman Najati, have tried to establish Islamic psychology for islamization of psychology according to the guidance of the Qur'an and Sunna So what is the need for Islamization of psychology?
