Abstract

The advocates of the project of islamization of knowledge saw that the Western cognitive model is living a knowledge crisis that poses it with difficult challenges. This is due to the foundations and the concepts that constitute it, The contexts in which the Western cognitive model originated have led to attitudes towards religion, man, and nature, The advocates of the Islamization of knowledge do not reject Western science as much as they warn of the danger of the environment in which it originated, The Western cognitive model, which some theorists claim to be the culmination of the development of cognitive models, is based on a monolithic vision that over-emphasizes the material aspect and neglects the moral and spiritual aspect, All this prompted the owners of the Islamization project to say that it is necessary to liberate knowledge from the Western vision and to re-establish it in a balanced manner
