Architectural forms in the architecture of palaces and their symbolic and semiotic implications

Abstract

The cities of Southwest Algeria, known as "palaces", have many advantages in terms of building materials and the functions of their various spaces, such as the alley and the public square. However, the most important feature of these cities is the beautiful architectural features that appear at first sight as ordinary shapes. It seems to the ordinary observer, but it is originally a language with a meaningful semantic speech and significance. This study tries to read the city without what is prevalent in the works that are usually classified within the sociology of the city, and what is practiced in it from the quantitative approaches seen by human clusters, or permanent and relatively dense communities coexist in a specific area.
