The reality of violence in Algerian football fields -Sociological approach –

Abstract

Phenomenon of the violence in Algeria's football stadiums has been particularly horrendous, especially in
recent years, leaving its negative effects on individuals, property and the security services. Although the
authorities have taken some preventive measures to reduce it, there are no longer effective under the rapid
development and change of the society. This called for researchers and specialists to look more seriously
and deepen in this phenomenon, which has become a threat to the security and safety of the society’s
members. The aim of this article is to highlight the phenomenon of violence in football fields by addressing
the most important approaches explaining the phenomenon, taking into account the reality of this
phenomenon in Algerian society, highlighting the most important factors controlling it, and the
consequences of the disastrous On the individual and society .At the end, the study shows methods of
addressing the phenomenon of violence in stadiums.
