Abstract

This article aims to clarify the difference between the fundamentals of civilized dialogue
between Muslims and Westerners, through a critical study, Which looks at the social
dimensions of the culture of each community and its histoiry. We found that these foundations
among the Arabs is based on intolerance and fanaticism, and not to accept the culture of the
other, Because of the bad mental image made by the Western media. that makes a real
problem and a practical barrier to the success of the intellectual dialogue between the Arab
and Western societies.
