Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the relationship between the family pressure and the
level of aspiration among a sample of First year students at the University of Ghardaia in terms of
age, order of brotherhood within a family.The research sample included 322 female students and
we used a descriptive study. We used as tools of research a questionnaire, a gauge of the family
pressure, and a gauge of the level of aspiration.After analysing the findings using the SPSS
programme and relying on statistical methods . The study ends to the following results there is a
correlational relationship between the family pressure and the level of aspiration among a sample
of students .the level of family pressure is law among a sample of students and the level of
aspiration is high. There is no significant differences in the level of aspiration according to age
variable and family rank variable.
