Abstract

the concept of leadership is closely linked to the concept of competence as the
extent to which the headmaster performs the leadership and managerial roles together
depends on the success or failure of any economic, educational, or health institutuion
..... because competence is a relative process, that the individual may be competent in a
situation and not competent in another, so, from here, the success of any institution in
doing its roles effectively depends on choosing its headmaster from leaders who have
high leadership competencies .
