The relationship of Sufi orders with armed popular resistance during the French colonial period in Algeria (1832-1916)

Abstract

The many resistances that followed the jihad of Prince Abdul Qadir constituted a distinctive phenomenon. The commonalities and characteristics between them were more than what distinguished them from each other. which make it in the form of the tributaries of a single stream or the branches of a single tree.
