Intellectual capital and itsrole in health crises Management - The Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis as a model - A case study in the public hospital of beni slimane, medea province
Abstract
This studyaimed to evaluate the availability of intellectual capital in the Public Hospital Beni Slimane Medea province, throughitsthree dimensions (human capital, structural capital and customer capital), as wellas itsrole in health crises management through the Corona virus crisis (Covid-19) as a model, where the descriptive analyticalapproachwasreliedupon and the questionnaire wasused as a tool for collecting data, by distributingit to a randomsample of employees (administrative, medical and paramedical)estimatedat 80 individuals, and processingitusing the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (spss).
The study results indicated the actual presence of human capital within the organization, while structural capital was not found to be a clear and understandable mechanism, As for customer capital, the study sample showed neutrality and ambiguity regarding its application. Furthermore, a statistically significant positive impact of intellectual capital on the activation of health crisis management at the BeniSlimane Public Hospital in Medea Province was found during the COVID-19 pandemic.The study concluded that investing in various aspects of intellectual capital is important and necessary, given its vital role in enhancing an organization's ability to deal with and effectively manage health crises when they occur.
