The career path and its effect on organizational commitment: a case study of the Sonelgaz company , Laghouat .
Abstract
The aim of this study was the examination of the impact of career development represented in these dimensions: advancement, job rotation, training, job enrichment, on the organizational commitment among a sample of 50 managers of the company Sonalgaz. A questionnaire was distributed to this sample. The results showed a significant effect of career path on commitment; and it also recommended adopting a strategy for concretizing career development’s dimensions within a whole human resources strategy. In addition to the previous results, we recommend the enhancement of the organizational commitment by providing suitable conditions for its success
