Strategies for activating academic advising in Algerian universities in light of some international experiences

Abstract

Interest in guidance and counseling began since 1879 when William Fonte was created the first laboratory for psychology at Leipzig university in Germany, it grew up in the first and second decades of  twentieth century, this upbringing was the result of changes in the educational, professional, social, economic, political and cultural life, which made psychologists and  educators in developed countries hasten to work to establish and strengthen counseling centers to help students in a time of multiple sources of  information, many professions and disciplines and accumulated science.

From this standpoint this research paper came up trying to present some advanced experiments in counseling in order to benefit from them in the presentation of a national strategy appropriate to our reality in terms of educational, social, cultural and economic.
