Evaluation of the communication code for people suffering from autism spectrum disorders
Abstract
The evaluation of communication code is considered as the first step after the diagnosis, it is an essential evaluation for the development of the individual project of accompaniment or the therapeutic program of each case (child, adolescent or adult) suffering of a communication disorder . Because it makes no sense for us as specialists to build an individual support project or even an individual therapy program without knowing what is the best way to communicate with this person. It is even irrational to pretend as professionals to use this or that communication program (pictograms, black and white images, color illustrations, photographs, words ...) if it does not match the current abilities of the child.
The protocol that we have built, allows us to modify the communicative level of the specialists, as well as the family circle of the person suffering from communication disorder and all those involved in the therapy program. While developing therapeutic projects most closed to the abilities of this person. This protocol allows us to determine the most effective visual code for every person with communication disorder.
