Future Concern and its Relation to Self-Esteem among Distance Learning Students in Tizi Ouzou and Bejaia Centers
Abstract
The aim of the study was to identify the relationship between the future anxiety and self-esteem of the
students of distance learning in the centers of Tizi Ouzou and Bejaia. To achieve this goal, we constructed
the measure of the future anxiety and the self-evaluation measure for the sample. (The negative outlook for
the future, the negative outlook of the school life, the physical manifestations of the future anxiety, the
psychological manifestations of the future anxiety), while the self-assessment measure (40) also includes
four dimensions (psychological, family, ), After ascertaining its cycometer properties The results showed
that there was a negative relationship between the anxiety of the future and the self-esteem, and showed
that the average degrees of concern for the future of most students and self-esteem Average.
