Quality of life within the family between the traditional dichotomy and the effects of modernization

Abstract

The family is the mainstay of the society because of its pivotal role in it. It provides the
society with an effective individual through mutual influences in family life. Therefore, the
family environment and the quality of life within it are of great importance in providing a
suitable environment for all its members. Today, the dialectics of the traditional family and
the modern family, and the attempt by each style to achieve this quality, focus on the cultural
heritage, with its local customs, traditions and values, as opposed to the values and patterns
of behavior that come to society as a result of cultural globalization.
