Abstract

The current study aims to build a tool that enjoys the indications of validity as a specialized tool that contributes to revealing the difficulties in learning mathematics experienced by students in the fifth year of primary education. , measurement, geometry, proportionality, mathematical issues) according to the mathematics curriculum for the fifth grade. Through the study, it was concluded that a questionnaire was built to determine the areas of difficulty in learning mathematics, consisting of 40 phrases classified according to fields. Numbers and arithmetic operations 46.75%, measurement 44%, geometry 42%. The field of problem solving was the most difficult point in learning mathematics, according to the opinions of the study sample.
