The Role of Prophetic Strategic Thought in Achieving Social and Economic Development
Abstract
Reading Western development these, according to the requirements of strict criticism, uncovers the methodological and procedural problems that governed them. It looked at development in its various dimensions in a fragmentary manner that did not know each dimension independant of the other ; as it was concerned with the economic dimension and the associated raising of the level of productivity and consumerism as the expense of the rest of the dimensions. Development in this way was a destructive development that hides behind it images of human and society suffering on the one hand, and the suffering of the environment on the other. This tense global context today calls us to present the Islamic vision and the nature of its treatment of development issues within the framework of the Prophet’s project, whose features were established at the beginning of Hijra, through a analytical reading of the Prophetic procedural action in the fields of economic development and social development
